VaasaETT is excited to announce that our household energy price data (HEPI) is now integrated into ACER's data dashboard. It tracks monthly changes in household energy prices across EU Member States and Norway, starting from January 2019. It provides valuable insights into EU household energy price trends, aiding informed decision-making.

For instance, in 2024, household electricity prices decreased by 5% compared to 2023, primarily due to a 17% fall in the energy component of prices. Higher network costs and the phase-out of some subsidies partly compensated these losses. Likewise, household gas prices saw an average decline of 7%, driven by a 20% decrease in the energy component.

This integration of HEPI enhances transparency in the energy market, offering policymakers, consumer protection groups, and EU citizens reliable data to better understand pricing dynamics across the region. The dashboards will be updated quarterly, ensuring continued access to the latest market insights.
